What the speaking part asks from you

INLL describes the speaking test as two parts: an interview with the examiner and a visual description. The goal is not theatrical performance. It is clear, practical Luxembourgish around everyday situations.

Good topic practice

  • Prepare flexible answers for family, work, home, daily routine, shopping, transport, health, hobbies, and travel.
  • Practise follow-up questions so your answer does not collapse after the first sentence.
  • Record yourself and listen back for clarity, missing verbs, and hesitation points.

Good picture-description practice

  • Say who is in the picture.
  • Say where they are.
  • Describe the activity and visible details.
  • Add a simple feeling, reason, or next action if you can.
