What most learners run into

The Sproochentest is practical, but beginners are often unsure what to practise first.

They need spoken Luxembourgish for real situations, but the path from first phrases to exam-facing listening and speaking can feel scattered.

What MoienLab gives you

A clear mobile path from first phrases to exam-facing practice.

Start with a short diagnosis, build A1 foundations with real audio, then practise inside each lesson as you move toward A2 speaking and B1 listening.

How it works

Three steps, each short enough to do on a phone.

Questions from Sproochentest learners.

Practical answers about learning, audio, accounts, timing, and daily practice.

What will I be able to do after practising here?

You should build practical Luxembourgish for everyday situations: greeting people, introducing yourself, handling simple appointments, cafés, transport, housing/admin basics, and preparing longer spoken answers for the exam path.

How does MoienLab work?

MoienLab starts with a short diagnosis, then gives 57 mobile lessons from A1.1 to B1, recorded audio, quick recall cards, A2 oral practice, B1 listening sets, and a timed mock exam with a written section.

Can I study in my own language?

Yes. Alongside English you can switch the whole site to Portuguese, French, Italian, Spanish or German. Every one of those versions is written by hand, not machine-translated.

Do I need an account?

No. The diagnosis and free practice work as a guest. Create an account to sync progress across devices; voice recordings remain only in your browser.

Does every line have audio?

Every Luxembourgish line in the course has recorded audio you can replay as often as you need before repeating it out loud.

How long does it take to be ready?

For most beginners, exam readiness takes several months of regular practice plus real speaking exposure. Speakers of German often find parts of the vocabulary familiar, which can help.

How is it different from a book or class?

MoienLab is built for short, repeatable practice on a phone: listen, speak, check, record, and come back tomorrow. It can support a class or book, but it is focused on daily practice momentum.
