Sound notes

  • Meng is used with feminine nouns like Fra and Famill; mäi is used with masculine/neuter nouns like Mann.
  • Schaffen = to work. You can use it before you know many job titles.
  • Moies means in the morning. Before moies, the final -n drops: Ech drénke moies Kaffi.
