- Entschëllegt plus Dir forms are a polite default when asking strangers for directions or appointment details.
- Answers to a direction question are usually very short — Riichtaus. No riets. — so do not wait for a full sentence before you say merci.
Sound notes
- Wou = where. It is short and very useful.
- Riichtaus, lénks, riets are direction words worth overlearning.
- Rendez-vous is common in spoken Luxembourgish for appointments.
